Roof pads are the easy-to-install and even easier-to-take-down solution, unlike cross bars or rails. These foldable pads can be stored in a small travel pouch, which can even fit in your luggage if you're flying to the mountains and need a portable ski rack for your rental.

Designed for Universal Fit on Most Cars This lightweight roof rack is made to fit easily on top of most standard cars. However, it does not work on sliding door or soft-top convertible cars, as the roof rack straps run through the doors. While it works best on cars with 4 or 5 doors, it can also be used on 2- and 3-door cars for shorter cargo, such as shortboards.

The 2 inches of soft, durable EVA foam padding is encased in a protective PVC cover, and the polypropylene webbing adjustable straps are UV-treated to withstand the elements. The silicon-covered marine-grade steel buckles keep your cargo securely in place.

The holder can accommodate up to 6 short boards, but it is not recommended for boards longer than 8ft.
